All American Reject
This collection is an ode to the reluctant immigrant. Through the lens of grief, rejected authority figures, unexpected friendships and a whole lot of food, it navigates the privilege and dismissal felt towards living in America today.
It invites you, my dear reader to ask:
What do you move towards when you think of home? What identities come alive only with place? Where does belonging come from? Who am I when no one is looking?

All Rights Reserved
This collection features writing about the body and the being. They explore my relationship to food, to norms of femininity, to growing up with a sense of what’s ideal, and what’s taking shape in me. It asks: Who does a body belong to?
Where does a bodies boundary end?
What are we touching when we touch each other?

All Things Considered
This collection is for ma, papa, adhi, snuffy, husband joe, friend joe, the dogs on my walk, multicolored skies, the clouds that make shapes, people that call after 3 unanswered texts, unending waves, day old fortune cookie crumbs, hot showers, no alarm mornings, chameleons, birdsong, seasons that change, blankets, poems on napkins, poems on notes apps, poems on bathroom walls, poems by friends, poems by strangers, poems.
For all the things that remind me that all things considered, I am and will be okay.

Handwritten Writing Prompts
If you need a little pick-me-up or a gift for a friend, I love putting together little writing prompt letters, that are easy to approach and help find a starting point for anyone feeling stuck (complete with some questionable drawings I can’t stop seeming to include).
